Almost 18 walked kilometres, a few tube rides, two nights spent on a night bus, visiting the Balenciaga exhibition, seeing amazing street art, eating croissants and doughnuts, stopping in different stores, a couple of super strong rain falls, and just wandering around London. That's pretty much our Thursday in London in a nutshell. Although on Friday morning we were two very shattered girls getting out of the bus, the mini getaway was really successful overall, and London just as lovely as always. Every time I visit London I can't help but say how I just can't get enough of the city, and that I will most definitely be back again ♥︎
Aloitettiin aamu superherkullisilla pistaasicroissanteilla ja isoilla kupeilla kahvia söpössä ja paljon hehkutetussa Farm Girl Cafessa.
Farm Girl Cafe
59a, Portobello Road, London W11 3DB
We started our morning with these super delicious pistachio croissants and big cups of coffee in the cute and much hyped Farm Girl Cafe.
Tänkertainen matkaseurani on superinnostunut katutaiteesta, ja mullekin avautui Lontoosta taas ihan uusi puoli kun bongailtiin toinen toistaan hienompia teoksia!
This time my travel companion was a true street art enthusiast, and therefore I got to spot some amazing artwork as well!
Meidän ainoa ihan pakollinen must-see juttu oli Victoria & Albert -museon Balenciaga-näyttely, joka oli kyllä todella antoisa ja sai katsomaan nykymuotiakin taas ihan uudella silmällä.
Victoria and Albert Museum
Cromwell Road, London SW7 2RL
Our only must-see destination was the Balenciaga exhibition at Victoria & Albert museum. I definitely enjoyed the exhibition, and it made me think and look at modern fashion in a bit different way too.
Pistäydyttiin myös Beyond Retro -nimisessä vintage-liikkeessä, jota voin ehdottomasti suositella vaikka me molemmat poistuttiinkin liikkeestä tällä kertaa tyhjin käsin
Beyond Retro
58-59 Great Marlborough St, London W1F 7JY (+ others and in Sweden too!)
We also stopped by Beyond Retro vintage boutique, which I definitely recommend visiting even though this time we both left empty handed.
Iltapäivästä alkoi väsymys painaa sen verran, että piti saada kofeiini- ja sokeritasot kahvien ja donitsien avulla taas ylös.
In the afternoon it was definitely time to get our caffeine and sugar levels up with the help of coffee and doughnuts.
Covent Garden was full of beautiful flower arrangements. If we wouldn't have felt and looked absolutely shattered after only a few hours of sleep, we definitely would've had a little photoshoot in front of this flower wall.
Lisää upeaa katutaidetta Shoreditchissä. Tää reissu oli kyllä katutaiteen puolesta itselleni erittäin silmiä avaava.
More amazing street art in Shoreditch. This trip definitely opened my eyes when it comes to street art.
