June Favorites

Taas on yksi kuu tullut päätökseen ja aika uudelle kuukauden suosikit -postaukselle! Kesäkuu ei tänä vuonna ollut säiden puolesta kovin kesäinen, mutta toivottavasti saataisiin heinäkuussa ne helteet vihdoin tänne Suomeenkin. On muuten ihan käsittämätöntä, että tästä vuodesta on jo puolet takana päin, mihin ihmeeseen kaikki tämä aika oikein katoaa?! 

// Another month has passed by and it's time for a new monthly favorites post! The weather in June wasn't actually summery this year, but lets hope that the warmer weather will finally arrive to Finland in July. By the way, it's unbelievable that we're already in the middle of the year, where on earth does this time disappear?!

L'oréal Paris Skin Perfection -päivävoide // L'oréal Paris Skin Perfction Day Cream: Kirjoittelinkin ostaneeni tämän päivävoiteen tässä postauksessa, jossa myös kerroin fiiliksiäni lyhyen käyttökokemuksen jälkeen. Tää tuote tekee edelleen kaikki samat jutut kuin mistä kerroin tuossa postauksessakin, mutta nyt huomaan myös ihoni laadun parantuneen, mitä tämä pikakaunistaja lupasikin tehdä. Kasvojeni ihon sävy on huomattavasti tasaisempi ja arvetkin ovat hieman haalistuneet. Ehdottomasti siis jatkan tämän käyttöä ja toivon, että ihoni sävy tasoittuu vielä entisestään.

// In this post I wrote that I had bought this day cream and shared my thoughts on it after just one day of using it (it's in Finnish, sorry!). This product still does the same things I wrote about in that post but now I can definitely see a difference in my skin even without it. The skin on my face looks more even and my acne scars aren't that visible anymore. I'll definitely continue to use this product and hope that my skin tone will even out even more. 

L'oréal Paris Infallible 24H-Matte -meikkivoide // L'oréal Paris Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation: Tämä meikkivoide on ollut mulla käytössä parin viikon ajan ja nyt todellakin ymmärrän kaiken sen hehkutuksen, jota tämä on saanut osakseen! Tämä tekee ihosta mattapintaisen, mutta kuitenkin luonnollisen näköisen ja peittää todella hyvin. Tämän meikkivoiteen kanssa olen usein jättänyt peitevoiteen kokonaan pois, sillä koen että meikkivoide yksinään on peittänyt ihon virheet tarpeeksi hyvin. Ehdottomasti uusi lempparimeikkivoide!

// I've been using this foundation for a couple of weeks now and now I definitely understand all the hype that this product has gotten! The finish is matte but still natural and the coverage is just great! With this foundation I don't even need concealer as I think this foundation covers the scars and blemishes etc. on my face well enough all on its own. Definitely a new favorite foundation! 

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch -valokynä // Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer: Kaivoin tämän valokynän taas käyttöön piiiiitkän tauon jälkeen. En oikeasti edes muista koska tämä on viimeksi ollut mulla käytössä! Viime aikoina olen kuitenkin käyttänyt tätä tummien silmänalusten peittämiseen ja kasvojen korostamiseen. Tummien silmänalusten peitossa tämä on ihan loistava ja saa katseen näyttämään heti pirteämmältä. Korostustarkoituksessakin tämä toimii todella hyvin ja tuo kasvoille välittömästi valoa ja kirkkautta. Joskus olen myös peittänyt tällä joitakin suurempia näppylöitä ja sekin onnistuu tämän avulla todella hyvin. 

// It's been a looong time since I've used this highlighting concealer. In fact, it's been so long that I don't even remember the last time I used this! But now I've been using this to conceal my under eye circles and highlight my face and this does both of those things really well. Your eyes look instantly more awake and this brings light and brightness to your face when used as a highlighter. Sometimes I've used this to cover some bigger blemishes and this does that very well too. 

Escada kesätuoksut // Escada summer scents: Mikään ei tuoksu kesältä niin kuin Escadan kesätuoksut! Ostin muutama vuosi sitten Collector's Editionin, jossa oli viisi minipulloa näitä kesätuoksuja ja nyt olen taas ottanut nämä pitkän ja pimeän talven jälkeen taas käyttöön. Muutama onkin tullut jo käytettyä loppuun, mutta vielä on nämä kaksi jäljellä. Vasemmanpuoleisen nimeä en valitettavasti muista, mutta oikealla on Taj Sunset. Molemmat tuoksuvat älyttömän hyvältä ja no, kesäiseltä. Ainoa huono puoli näissä on, että nämä eivät kestä iholla kovin pitkään, mutta onneksi näitä voi aina lisäillä iholle päivän mittaan. 

// Nothing smells like summer like Escada summer scents! I bought the Collector's Edition with five of these mini bottles a few years ago and now after a long and dark winter I've started to use these again. I've used up three of the five already and now I have just these two left. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the one on the left, but the one on the right is called Taj Sunset. They both smell incredibly good and well, summery. The only downside with these is the fact that they don't last on your skin very long, but luckily you can always reapply during the day.
