Beauty empties

Olen melko säästeliäs kauneustuotteideni suhteen ja kaikki tuotteet, joita kauneudenhoidossani käytän kestävätkin mulla yleensä pitkään. Nyt viime viikkoina on kuitenkin useammasta tuotteesta tullut puristettua tai suihkutettua se viimeisinkin pisara ulos, mistä kyllä olen oikeastaan aika iloinen, sillä se on antanut mulle hyvän syyn ostaa ja kokeilla taas jotakin uutta ;) Olen kerran aikaisemminkin tehnyt tällaisen empties-postauksen ja se löytyy täältä!

// I'm quite sparing when it comes to my beauty items and all the products I use usually last me a long time. However, during the past few weeks I have squeezed or sprayed out the last drop from several different products, which I'm actually quite happy about because that has given me a reason to go and buy something new again ;) I've done a product empties post like this once before and you can find it here! Victoria's Secret Love Spell body mist & Secret Charm -hajuvesi // perfume

Love Spell body mistin sain muutama vuosi sitten Pilviltä Dubaista tuliaisiksi ja se onkin ollut ajoittain melko kovassakin käytössä. Tässä kukkaisessa tuoksussa tuoksuu kirsikankukka ja persikka ja kokonaisuudessaan tuoksu on melko makea ja tyttömäinen. Tää tuoksu oli pienen matkakokonsa ansiosta todella kätevä ottaa matkalle mukaan ja reissasikin mun mukana muun muassa Australiassa ja Jenkeissä. Tää tuoksu herättää mussa niin vahvoja reissumuistoja että toisaalta tuntuu hieman haikealta luopua tästä. 

Secret Charm -hajuvesi ei ole ihan niin makea ja tyttömäinen kuin Love Spell, vaikka makeitahan nämä kaikki VS:n tuoksut ovat. Secret Charmissa tuoksuu kuusama ja jasmiini, jotka tekevät tuoksusta ehkä hieman raikkaamman ja jotenkin "aikuisemman". Vaikka tämäkin tuoksuu toki hyvältä, täytyy sanoa että pidän ehkä muista Victoria's Secretin tuoksuistani enemmän. Mutta pitihän tämäkin käyttää loppuun!

// I got this Love Spell body mist from Pilvi a few years ago when she visited Dubai and at times I've been using it a lot. This floral scent consists of cherry blossom and peach notes and all in all it's quite a sweet and girly scent. Thanks to the small travel size this was really easy to bring along on holidays and this travelled with me for example to Australia and the USA. This scent brings back so many memories that I feel a bit sad to not be able to use this anymore.

Secret Charm perfume isn't as sweet and girly as Love Spell, though all VS scents are quite sweet. Secret Charm has notes of honeysuckle and jasmine that make the scent maybe a bit more fresh and somehow more "grown-up". Even though this scent of course smells really good I have to say that I think I prefer my other Victoria's Secret scents. But of course I needed to use this up as well!

First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser & Ultra Repair Cream

Tästä First Aid Beautyn putsarista olen kirjoitellut jo muutamaan kertaan aiemminkin, mutta totean nyt vielä kerran, että tämä on kyllä todella hyvä puhdistusaine! Tämä puhdistaa hellävaraisesti iholta meikin, rasvan, epäpuhtaudet ja lian, eikä tuoksu miltään, joten soveltuu hyvin herkemmällekin iholle. 

Saman merkin Ultra Repair Creamia olen käyttänyt kosteusvoiteena lähinnä iltaisin. Rasva on koostumukseltaan melko paksua, mutta imeytyy ihan supernopeasti. Tämä kosteuttaa todella tehokkaasti, eikä jätä ihoa rasvaisen tuntuiseksi. Tämäkään ei tuoksu oikeastaan miltään, eikä sisällä parabeenejä, voimakkaita kemikaaleja tai väriaineita, joten soveltuu hyvin myös herkälle iholle. 

// I've written about this First Aid Beauty Cleanser a few times before already but I state once more that this really is a very good cleanser! This gently removes make up, oils, impurities and dirt and doesn't smell like anything so this suits well for a more sensitive skin too.

I've been using the Ultra Repair Cream from the same brand as a moisturizer mostly at night time. The consistency of the cream is quite thick but it absorbs super quickly. This moisturizes effectively and doesn't leave an oily residue on the skin. This doesn't smell like anything either and doesn't contain parabens, harsh chemicals or colorants so this is also suitable for sensitive skin.

Tämän suihkutettavan hoitoaineen bongasin monista Youtube-videoista ja se päätyikin sitten Californiassa ostoskoriin, kun kerran lähes kaikki seuraamani beauty gurut tätä suosittelivat. Tämä tuote lupaa tehdä vaikka ja mitä, muun muassa korjata kuivia ja vaurioituneita hiuksia, lisätä kiiltoa, hillitä pörröisyyttä, helpottaa harjaamista ja ties mitä muuta. Mun täytyy kyllä rehellisesti sanoa, että tämä hoitoaine tuotti mulle pettymyksen. Eihän se nyt tietenkään yhtä tyhjän kanssa ollut, mutta odotin kyllä kaikkien kehujen jälkeen paljon enemmän, varsinkin kun hintakaan ei ole ihan halvimmasta päästä. Suihkun jälkeen harjaamista tämä kyllä helpotti, mutta esimerkiksi hiusteni kunnossa tai kaksihaaraisten määrässä en kyllä oikeastaan huomannut eroa. Samanlaatuisen tuotteen saa varmasti halvemmallakin!

// I spotted this leave-in conditioner from many Youtube videos and it ended up in my shopping basket in California, because almost every beauty guru that I follow had recommended this. This product has a long list of things it promises to do, for example repair dry and damaged hair, add shine, control frizz, make brushing easier and loads of other things too. But I have to be honest and say that this product was a disappointment for me. It wasn't next to nothing but after all the hype I had heard I definitely expected more, especially when the price isn't exactly from the lowest end. It was easier to brush my hair after shower after spraying this but I didn't notice any difference for example on the condition of my hair or the amount of split ends. I'm sure you can find a product as good as this for a much cheaper price!
