Elevated Basics

Ollaan taas mun lempparijuttujen äärellä: niiden perusvaatteiden, jotka vaan näyttää hyvältä milloin vaan missä vaan. Kuten vaikkapa farkkushortsit ja valkoinen t-paita. Kesän ehdoton luottokombo, jonka voin heittää päälle sen kummempaa miettimättä ja suunnittelematta. Usein kuitenkin kaipaan tällaisiin peruselementeistä muodostuviin asuihin sitä kuuluisaa jotakin, ja niissä tilanteissa tulee asusteet ja muut pienet yksityiskohdat mukaan kuvioihin. Esimerkiksi tässä asussa nyörikengät, vyö, pitsi-bralette ja aurinkolasit tuo peruslookiin vähän lisää mielenkiintoa. Ja välillä jos fiilis on erityisen villi ja kokeilunhaluinen, toimii jokin kirkas huulipuna ihan loistavana yksityiskohtana ja katseenvangitsijana simppeleiden asujen kanssa.

Miten te asustatte tällaisia perus-lookeja?

Here we go with some of my favourite things again: the wardrobe basics that look good whenever wherever, no matter what. Like a pair of denim shorts and a white t-shirt. The ultimate summer go-to that I can just throw on without having to sacrifice a lot of thought or planning towards my outfit for the day. However, often I feel like just the pure basics are missing that something something, and it's exactly these moments when the accessories and other little details enter the picture. For example in this look, the lace-up flats, belt, lace bralette and sunglasses add that finishing touch to the basic look. And at times when I'm feeling particularly wild and adventurous, a bright lip works wonders as a detail and eye-catcher with simple outfits like this one.
