En oo varmasti ainut, joka kaipaa kesällä hieman raikkaampaa ja kevyempää tuoksua kuin talviaikaan. Tässä toukokuun lempparit -postauksessa kirjoittelinkin uudesta Chloén Love Story -kesätuoksusuosikista, mutta sittemmin sain myös So...? -brändiltä muutamia body mistejä testiin, jotka nekin täyttää mun kesätuoksuvaatimukset.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who looks for something a bit more fresh and light scent to wear during the Summer months compared to the Winter fragrances. In this May Favourites post I wrote about the Chloé Love Story perfume that is my new Summer favourite, but since then I was also kindly sent some So...? body mists to try, and they too tick all the boxes of what I look for in Summer scents.
Mitä haluan kesätuoksultani?
- Keveyttä. Kesätuoksu saa mun mielestä olla nimenomaan kevyt ja sellainen, jota voi päivän mittaan suihkia ylle useamminkin. Kevyet (ja edulliset) body mistit toimii hyvin myös festareilla tai mökillä, kun haluaa tuoksua hyvältä mutta kuitenkin jättää sen kalliimman hajuvesipullon kotiin.
- Raikkautta. Täydellinen kesätuoksu saa mielestäni olla raikas ja juuri sopivan makea. Sen takia mun kesätuoksuissa tuoksuukin usein kukkaset ja sitrushedelmät, kun voimakkaat mausteisemmat tuoksut jää kesän ajaksi tauolle vaikka muuten niistä tykkäänkin.
- Helppoutta. Tilanteeseen kuin tilanteeseen sopiva ja helposti mukana kuljetettava kesätuoksu takaa sen, että extempore jätskitreffit tai terassi-istuskelut onnistuu hyväntuoksuisena pidemmänkin päivän jälkeen.
What I Look for in a Summer Scent?
- Lightness. In my opinion a summer scent has to be quite light, and the kind that you can spray on multiple times a day. Light (and affordable) body mists are also great for music festivals, camping or summer cottage trips, when you want to smell nice but probably want to leave your favourite more expensive perfume bottle at home.
- Freshness. For me, the perfect summer scent it fresh and just sweet enough. That's why my summer fragrances usually have notes of florals and citrus fruits, when I give a summer break for the stronger and spicier scents although I love them for Autumn and Winter.
- Easiness. A summer scent that suits any situation and is easy to carry around ensures that extempore ice cream dates or summer cocktails can be had smelling good even after a long and sweaty day.
Nämä So...? -vartalosuihkeet ovat tosiaan aikalailla juuri sitä mitä kesätuoksuiltani haluankin, ja näistä mun ehdoton lemppari on tuo Pink Grapefruit. Siinä on mun makuun juuri sopivasti sitä sitruksisuutta ja makeutta, ja tää tuleekin varmasti kulkemaan käsilaukussa mukana koko kesän.

These So...? body mists are pretty much everything I want from my summer scents, and my absolute favourite out of these three is the Pink Grapefruit one. It has just the right balance of fresh citrus and sweet floral notes, and I have a strong feeling that this will live inside my handbag all summer long.
