Going More Natural With My Skincare

Mua Instagramin puolella (@pinnchie) seuraavat onkin jo saattaneet muutamien viime viikkojen aikana bongata näitä Botanics ihonhoitotuotteita mun feedistäni. Toimin Botanicsin #theplantone-brändilähettiläänä, ja vaikkei postaus varsinaisesti heidän kanssaan yhteistyössä olekaan, niin haluan kuitenkin jakaa kokemuksiani näistä vähän luonnollisemmista ihonhoitotuotteista täällä blogin puolellakin.

Those of you who follow me on Instagram (@pinnchie) might have spotted pictures of these Botanics skincare products on my feed these past few weeks. I'm one of #theplantone brand ambassadors for Botanics, and although this post isn't officially part of the collaboration I still wanted to share some of my experiences with these more natural skincare products here on the blog too. 



Luonnollisemmat kauneudenhoitotuotteet on muutenkin kiinnostaneet viime aikoina todella paljon, joten oon innolla testaillut näitä Kew Gardensin kanssa yhteistyössä kehitettyjä tuotteita, joiden raaka-aineista vähän tuotteesta riippuen suurin osa, ellei jopa kaikki, on nimenomaan luonnollista alkuperää.

Going more natural with my skincare routine is something I've been wanting and trying to do anyway, so I've been really excited to try out all these products that've been developed together with the Royal Kew Gardens. Depending on the product most, if not all, of the ingredients are precisely of natural origin. 



Botanics Organic Rosewater Toning Spritz on mulla käytössä aamuisin puhdistuksen jälkeen kasvovetenä. Nimensä mukaisesti ruusuvettä sisältävä kasvovesi rauhoittaa ja virkistää ihoa, ja tekee ihosta pehmeän tuntuisen jolloin kasvovettä seuraava kosteusvoide levittyy iholle helposti.

I've been using the Botanics Organic Rosewater Toning Spritz in the morning after first cleansing my face. As the name suggests, the toner contains rosewater and calms and refreshes the skin. This makes my skin feel soft and ready for the moisturiser that's about to follow. 



Kosteusvoiteista puheen ollen seuraavana vuorossa nämä kaksi kasvorasvaa, joita olen nyt muutaman viikon ajan käyttänyt aamuisessa ihonhoitorutiinissani. Vaaleanpunaisessa purkissa oleva All Bright Hydrating Day Cream SPF15 on hieman kevyempi, hibiscusta sisältävä kirkastava kosteusvoide, kun taas vihreän purkin sisältämä Organic Hydrating Day Cream on paksumpaa, ruusunmarjauutetta sisältävää ja vielä tehokkaammin kosteuttavaa tavaraa. Molemmat kosteusvoiteet imeytyy iholle todella hyvin, ja jättää kasvot pehmeän ja kosteutetun tuntuisiksi. Alkusyksystä mulla oli enemmän käytössä juurikin tuo kevyempi päivävoide, mutta nyt ilmojen viilennettyä iho kaipaa taas hieman enemmän kosteutusta, joten vihreä purkki on päässyt käyttöön useammin.

Speaking of moisturisers, next up is these two face creams that've been part of my morning skincare routine for a few weeks now. The pink All Bright Hydrating Day Cream SPF15 is a little bit lighter moisturiser with hibiscus, whereas the Organic Hydrating Day Cream in the green tin is a bit heavier and even more moisturising cream with rose hip extract. Both of the products absorb quickly to the skin, and leave my face feeling soft and moisturised. At the beginning of the Autumn I used to wear the lighter day cream more often, but now that the weather is getting colder the slightly heavier moisturiser has been my morning go-to. 




Viimeisenä vielä ihan mun lempparituote, eli All Bright Purifying Face Scrub. Vuosien aikana on tullut kokeiltua kaikenlaisia erilaisia kuorinta-aineita, mutta tää on kyllä valehtelematta ehdottomasti paras, enkä aio tästä enää vaihtaa mihinkään muuhun! All Bright -sarjan kosteusvoiteen tapaan kuorintavoidekin sisältää kirkastavaa hibiscus-uutetta, ja kuorivina osina tuote sisältää aprikoosin siemeniä ja saksanpähkinää. Kuorinta-aine jättää jälkeensä todella pehmeän ja puhtaan näköisen ja tuntuisen ihon, mutta tuntuu käyttäessä silti hellävaraiselta eikä ärsytä tai raavi ihoa ollenkaan. Tästä tuotteesta en tosiaan tuu enää luopumaan, pääsi heittämällä mun luottoihonhoitotuotteiden joukkoon!

Kaikille Botanics-sarjan tuotteille täytyy antaa myös iso plussa mielettömän hyvistä ja raikkaista tuoksuista! Välillä tuntuu, että tällaiset luonnolliset kauneudenhoitotuotteet haisevat vähintäänkin hieman erikoiselle, mutta näissä Botanics-tuotteissa on kaikissa todella miellyttävä tuoksu. Last but definitely not least is my absolute favourite product, the All Bright Purifying Face Scrub. I've tried many face scrubs throughout the years, but this is hands down the best one I've ever used and certainly the one I will stick with from now on! Just like the All Bright moisturiser, the face scrub also contains brightening hibiscus extract, and as for the exfoliating particles the product contains apricot seed and walnut powders. The face scrub leaves my skin feeling and looking super soft and clean, but it's still gentle to use and doesn't irritate the skin at all. Like I said, I will not be parting with this product and it easily made its way to one of my go-to skincare products! 

I also have to mention the amazing and fresh scent of all of the Botanics products. Sometimes I feel like natural skincare products can smell a bit weird, but all of these Botanics products have a very pleasant scent to them.
