Jokaiseen kesään kuuluu se yksi täydellinen kesämekko, ja väitän että se mun tän kesän mekko on tässä! Päättäripäivänä juhlittiin veljeni ylioppilasjuhlia ja pienimuotoisen asukriisin pelasti tämä upea kukkamekko KappAhlin uudesta Vintage Stories -mallistosta. Maksimittainen mekko onkin ihan täydellinen kesän juhliin, eikä muuten varmasti riko etikettiä missään tilanteessa! Sopii ylioppilasjuhlien lisäksi ehdottomasti myös häävieraalle ja muihinkin kesän juhlallisuuksiin.
Every summer requires that one perfect summer dress, and I think I've found my one for this year! We celebrated my little brother's graduation a couple of weekends ago and this gorgeous floral maxi dress from the new KappAhl Vintage Stories collection saved my tiny outfit crisis I was having. The maxi length is just perfect for summer occasions, and doesn't break the etiquette at any party! This would be the perfect dress also for a wedding guest for example.
Tämä mekko sopii paitsi erilaisiin juhlallisuuksiin niin myös ihan tavalliseen arkikäyttöön, ja tästä onkin tulossa kuvamateriaalia ja todistusaineistoa vielä myöhemmin. Todellinen jokapaikan mekko siis - ja juuri niitähän ne täydelliset kesämekot nimenomaan onkin. Kaiken lisäksi tämä kukallinen maksimekko on ihan mielettömän mukava päällä, eikä maksimittaisen helman ansiosta ole vilautteluvaaraakaan! Mekon materiaali puolestaan on ihanan kevyttä ja vilpoisaa, mutta siitä huolimatta alusvaatteet eivät paista läpi. Tuntuu että monen muuten ihan täydellisen mekon kohdalla ongelma on nimenomaan materiaalin läpikuultavuus ja sen takia on monet kivat mekot jääneetkin kauppaan.
Not only is this dress perfect piece of summer occasionwear, it really works well in the everyday too (photos to prove this coming up later). Definitely a dress for every situation - and that's exactly what the best and most perfect summer dresses are. This floral maxi dress is also super comfortable to wear, and thanks to the maxi length of the skirt there's no fear of flashing! As for the material, it's light, airy and cool but despite that your underwear isn't shining through. I feel like the problem with most dresses is exactly the see-through material that exposes your underwear choice for the rest of the world to see.
