90's Vibes

Nyt kun mom jeansien kanssa päästiin alkuun ysärivibojen kanssa, niin jatketaan samaa rataa! Samalla jakoon varmasti vuoden viimeiset näin kesäiset kuvat ja kesäinen asu, mutta kyllähän näin syyskuun kynnyksellä jo sopiikin hyvästellä helle-lookit. Syksy on pukeutumisen suhteen ihan ehdottomasti mun suosikkisesonki (hello neuleet, nilkkurit, takit ja muut!), ja aika innolla mä jo ootankin syksyisempien asujen käyttöä. Ja ylipäätään mun ja koko vaatevarastoni iloista jälleennäkemistä!

Now that I started with the 90's vibes with the mom jeans, let's continue on the same lines! Also sharing what must be the last summery photos and summery outfit with you, but as we're entering September in a couple of days I think it's a suitable time to say goodbye to the heatwave looks. Autumn is hands down my favourite fashion season anyway (hello knitwear, boots, jackets/coats & co.!), and I'm not going to lie I'm actually quite excited to start with the more autumnal outfits. And to be reunited with my full wardrobe to begin with! 



Mutta takaisin niihin ysäriviboihin! Tässä lookissa 90-luvun fiilistä asuun tuo mikäs muukaan kuin vanha kunnon scrunchie, joita on nyt viime aikoina näkynyt hiusasustemuodissa taas paljon. 90-luku tulee muutenkin olemaan pinnalla hiusmuodissa nyt tulevana syksynä, ruotsalainen STYLEBY-muotilehtikin oli pistänyt merkille muun muassa Alexander Wangin viime kevään muotinäytöksen banaaninutturat hainhammas-klipseineen. Olkapäät paljaiksi jättävä paita ja farkkuhame myös omalta osaltaan henkivät vähän ysäriviboja, vaikka ne moderneilta silti näyttävätkin. Tässä kyllä taas hyvin huomaa muodin kiertokulun ja kuinka samat jutut toistuvat trendeissä aina tasaisin väliajoin.

But back to the 90's vibes! In this look those vibes are obviously provided by the good old hair scrunchie, that've been really on trend in hair fashion lately. 1990s in general will be a big trend when it comes to hair this season, the Swedish STYLEBY fashion magazine had also featured e.g. the 'banana bun' done with a big hair clip that the models wore last spring when walking the Alexander Wang fashion show. The shoulder-baring top and denim skirt also have some of those 1990s vibes to them, yet they still look really modern. Here's once again a good example of how fashion goes in cycles and certain things always come back after a certain amount of time.
