Kaupallinen yhteistyö // Commercial collaboration with Femme Luxe
Ennen joulua kirjoittelin parista eri Femme Luxen mekosta, joiden välillä pohdin jouluaaton asua. Päädyin lopulta pukeutumaan punakultaiseen leopardiprinttiseen paitamekkoon, joka sopi aattopäivään paremmin kuin hyvin. Nyt kun joulu on jo takana päin mutta uusi vuosi vasta tulossa, ei ole ollut mitään parempaa kuin viettää aikaa mukavissa ja lämpimissä neulemekoissa. Näiden joulun ja uuden vuoden välisten päivien lisäksi neulemekot sopii ihan täydellisesti talvipäiviin yleisestikin, sillä kukapa nyt ei haluaisi pukeutua mukavasti ja lämpimästi mutta silti kivannäköisesti ihan tavallisessa arjessakin? Pystynkin omasta puolestani jo nyt sanomaan, että näille mekoille tulee vielä paljon käyttöä nyt talvella ja myöhemminkin!
Before Christmas I wrote about two different Femme Luxe dresses that I was deciding between for my Christmas outfit. Eventually I ended up putting on the shirt dress in red and gold leopard print, and it suited the occasion better than well. Now that Christmas is behind us but New Year's only coming up, there has been nothing better than spending time in comfortable and warm jumper dresses. Not only are jumper dresses perfect for these limbo days between Christmas and New Years Eve, but they work just as well in the everyday life during the winter season. I mean, who wouldn't want to dress comfy and warm but still look good on a day to day basis? I can already say that these dresses will be used plenty of times this winter season and further on as well!
Valkoinen poolokauluksinen neulemekko on väljän mallinsa ansiosta todella mukava, ja kiitos korkean poolokauluksen mekko myös suojaa ja lämmittää kaulaa kylmässä talvisäässä ja tuulessa. Mekko on hieman lyhyempää mallia, joten se tulee näyttämään superhyvältä myös keväällä korkeavartisiin saappaisiin yhdistettynä, tai miksei ihan vain lenkkareihinkin? Nyt talven kylmyydessä mekko toimii kuitenkin parhaiten sukkahousujen tai leggingsien kanssa yhdistettäväksi. Tällaiset rennon malliset, äärimmäisen mukavat ja lämmittävät neulemekot on ihan täydellisiä nyt talvella kun ei halua tinkiä nimenomaan siitä mukavuudesta, mutta haluaa kuitenkin näyttää kivalta ja sellaiselta talvisen söpöltä. Itse ainakin tunnen oloni mukavaksi ja tyylikkääksi silloin kun päällä on kiva neulemekko, ja se taas vaikuttaa ihan suoraan mun mielialaan. Ja pimeässä ja kylmässä talvessa täytyy todellakin ottaa kaikki mahdolliset keinot käyttöön mitä tulee mielialan nostamiseen!
A white rollneck jumper dress is super comfortable because of that relaxed fit, and thanks to the higher neckline it also protects and warms the neck agains the cold winter weather and wind. The dress has a shorter hemline, so it will look amazing with a pair of over-the-knee boots in the spring time too, and I can also imagine it looking great with a pair of sneakers as well! However, now in the winter cold the dress works best together with a pair of tights or leggings. These kind of relaxed fit jumper dresses that are extremely comfortable and keep you warm are just made for the winter months when you don't want to sacrifice being cosy but you still want to look nice and cute in a wintery kind of way. At least I personally feel comfy and stylish when I'm wearing a cute jumper dress, and that in turn directly correlates with my mood because as the saying goes, "I'm nicer when I like my outfit". And during the dark and cold winter months one has to do everything and anything to stay in as good of a mood as possible!
Toinen äärimmäisen mukava neulemekko Femme Luxelta on tämä ribbattu midimittainen mekko. Tämän mallista mekkoa mulla ei olekaan itse asiassa ollut koskaan aiemmin, mutta syksyn aikana aloin ihastua enemmän ja enemmän nimenomaan tällaisiin ribattua kangasta oleviin neulemekkoihin midi-helmalla. Tämän mekon kaulusta ei ehkä ihan voi luokitella poolokaulukseksi asti, mutta se nousee kaulalla kuitenkin hieman korkeammalle, ja näin ollen antaa myös vähän lisäsuojaa ja -lämmikettä. Myös pidempi helman pituus totta kai lisää mekon soveltuvuutta kylmemmille keleille, ja ihan yhtä hyvin tämänkin neulemekon alle voi ulos lähtiessä sujauttaa vielä sukkahousut jalkaan. Vähän luulenkin, että tästä neulemekosta tulee se mun 'go-to outfit' kun luennot ja seminaarit alkaa taas tammikuun lopulla! En itse asiassa osannut kuvitellakaan kuinka paljon nimenomaan tähän mustaan neulemidiin ihastuisin, mutta näistä kahdesta tämä nousi ehdottomasti mun suosikiksi vaikka valkoinen onkin ehkä enemmän sitä tyyliä mitä mun päällä yleensä nähdään. Ehkä tykkäänkin tästä mekosta juuri siksi niin paljon - taas jotain uutta ja erilaista, joka osoittaa sen että kannattaa rohkeasti kokeilla eri tyylejä jos joku tietty juttu miellyttää silmää!
Another super comfortable jumper dress from Femme Luxe is this ribbed midi length dress. I've actually never had a dress like this in my wardrobe before, but during the autumn I kept becoming more and more in fond of exactly these kind of ribbed midi dresses. You can't exactly call the neckline of this dress a rollneck or a polo neck, but it still rises a bit higher than your regular neckline and therefore provides some added warmth. And the longer hemline obviously also makes the dress a bit more suitable for the colder days, and you can even wear a pair of tights underneath this dress just as well as you can with the white one. I have a feeling that this particular dress will become my go-to outfit when my lectures and seminars start again at the end of January! I actually never imagined how much I would really love this black ribbed midi, but out of these two dresses in this post this one is hands down my favourite although the white one might be more of the style I would usually opt for. But maybe that's exactly it - this is again something new and different, and certainly shows that it doesn't hurt to be brave and try different styles if something just takes your fancy!
