Ihanaa uutta viikkoa ja heinäkuuta! Kuka muu saa jotain käsittämätöntä mielihyvää siitä, että uusi kuukausi alkaa nimenomaan maanantaina?! Vähän kuin kaksi uutta alkua yhdellä iskulla, haha! Kesäkuu tuli, oli ja meni, ja siihen mahtui niin erilaisia juhlia, mökkiviikonloppuja, Nizzan reissua kuin ihan vain kotona hengailuakin. Vaikka välillä ruudun tällä puolella koettiin myös turhautumisen fiiliksiä, niin kokonaisuudessaan kesäkuu oli kyllä oikeasti todella ihana kuukausi. Happy new week and July everyone! Who else gets a weird satisfactory feeling of a new month beginning on a Monday?! It's kind of like getting two fresh starts at once, hahah! June is now behind, and for me the month consisted of different celebrations, a weekend at a summer cottage, a weekend trip to Nice, as well as just hanging around at home. Although at times I felt quite frustrated, taking an overall look to the past June I have to say it was quite a lovely one. You'll find some of my favourite things from June below, let me know some of yours in the comments!
- Vaate: Vaikka tämä kuvien mekko muutti mun kaappiin vasta viime viikolla, niin tästä BikBokin vaaleanvioletista kukkaihanuudesta tuli kyllä heti uusi suosikki 💜
- Ostos: No nämä Chloén kesäsandaalit tietenkin!
- Päivä: Kesäkuuhun mahtui vaikka kuinka monta ihanaa päivää, mutta taidan silti sanoa meidän toinen päivä Nizzassa. Tästä tulossa vlogia vielä myöhemmin tällä viikolla!
- Sarja: Monen muunkin tavoin oon katsonut HBO:lta Chernobyliä!
- Ruoka: Tofu bowl yhdessä supersöpössä nizzalaisessa kahvilassa. Tästä vinkkiä myöhemmin! Itse tehdyistä puolestaan superherkulliset tortillat mitä kokkailtiin mökillä kavereiden kanssa.
- Clothing item: Although the dress in these pictures is a brand new addition to my wardrobe just from last week, the gorgeous floral number from BikBok became a firm favourite straight away 💜
- Purchase: Well these Chloé sandals of course!
- Day: I spent many a lovely day in June, but I'm going to go with the second day we spent in Nice. Stay tuned for the vlog later this week!
- Series: I, like so many others, have been watching Chernobyl on HBO!
- Food: I had a really yummy tofu bowl in one super cute cafe in Nice. A Nice food guide is also coming later this week, so more of that then! From the homemade meals on the other hand, the super yummy tortillas we made during our cottage weekend were my fave.
- Herkku: No jäätelö tiestysti! Juhannuksena testiin pääsi kotimaisen Tötterön mansikka-raparperi, joka oli ihan superhyvää.
- Juoma: Kombucha, ihan ehdottomasti. Ei ole mitään parempaa kuin lämmin kesäpäivä ja kylmänä kupliva kombucha jäillä.
- Muisto: Kaikkien kesäkuun ihanien päivien myötä tähänkin olisi monta vaihtoehtoa, mutta ehkä kaikkein parhaimmat muistot jäi kuitenkin kavereiden kanssa rennosti vietetystä mökkiviikonlopusta.
- Biisi: Kuuntelen yleisesti ottaen todella vähän musiikkia, mutta aina kesäisin mun musiikinkuuntelu kyllä lisääntyy huomattavasti! Parasta kesämusaa on ehdottomasti kaikki ja mikä tahansa JVG - niin uusi kuin vanhakin tuotanto. Nyt heinäkuussa täytyy kyllä varmaan ottaa Ed Sheeran taas kuunteluun ja alkaa virittäytymään keikkatunnelmaan!
- Podcast: Afterwork-tyttöjen murha-jakso oli todella mielenkiintoista ja koukuttavaa kuunneltavaa! Kesäkuussa aloin myös kuuntelemaan Blogospheren Serious Influence -podcastin toista kautta. Iso suositus jos vaikuttajamarkkinointi kiinnostaa!
- Treat: Ice cream of course! On Midsummer I tried a new one I've never tried before: strawberry-rhubarb and it was super yummy.
- Drink: Kombucha, without a doubt. Nothing better than a hot summer day and cold and sparkling kombucha with some ice.
- Memory: With all the lovely June days I've got lots of lovely memories too, but maybe my favourite memories of all are from the cottage weekend with a couple of friends of mine.
- Song: Generally speaking I tend to listen to music quite rarely, but in the summer months my music consumption increases significantly! My favourite summer music is anything and everything by the Finnish hip hop / rap band JVG. But now that it's July and I'm heading to the Ed Sheeran concert later this month, I think I need to start gearing up for that!
- Podcast: Alongside a few Finnish ones, I started to listen to the second season of Blogosphere: Serious Influence. Highly recommend to all the other bloggers and social media people out there, or if you're just generally interested in influencer marketing!

- Kirja: Kesäkuussa luin oikeastaan vain yhtä kirjaa, Jess Stearn'in Yoga, Youth, and Reincarnation, ja tämän lukeminen jatkuu vielä heinäkuunkin puolelle.
- Insta-tili: Ihanan Henriikan tili ihastutti ja inspiroi kesäkuussa ihan erityisesti.
- Treeni: Kamppailin melkeinpä koko kevään erinäisten jalkaongelmien kanssa, mutta nyt oon päässyt taas pikku hiljaa ja varovaisesti aloittamaan lenkkeilyn. Myös ulkojooga on tuntunut hyvältä!
- Kauneustuote: Charlotte Tilburyn Beach Stick on ollut ahkerassa käytössä. Sillä saa niin ihanasti kaunista ja kevyttä hehkua poskipäille!
- Blogipostaus: Ystäväni Jude kirjoitti hienosti ja osuvasti siitä, kuinka yhä vuonna 2019 itsensä hyväksyminen ja arvostaminen sellaisena kuin on herättää muissa usein ihmettelyä, vaikkei sen pitäisi olla niin.
- Book: Yoga, Youth, and Reincarnation by Jess Stearn was the only book I read in June and as I'm still in the middle of reading it I will continue with that in July too.
- Instagram account: In June I was inspired by the lovely Henriikka's photos.
- Workout: Through all the spring months I had various different issues with my foot, but now I've been slowly been able to get bag into jogging again. Outdoor yoga has felt amazing too!
- Beauty product: I've been using the Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick a lot lately. It just adds such a nice, beautiful glow to the cheekbones!
- Blogpost: My friend Jude wrote a really good post on how still in 2019 it amazes other people when one fully accepts oneself as they are although it really shouldn't be like that!
