4 Reasons You Need a Signature Outfit

Aloin jonkin aikaa sitten miettimään, että mun pitäisi varmaan oikeasti vaihtaa blogin nimeksi tai ainakin lisätä Instan bioon 'the blazer girl' tai jotain muuta vastavaa, sen verran paljon bleisereitä tulee nimittäin käytettyä! Ihana ystäväni Inka kommentoikin erästä Instagram-kuvaani hiljattain että yhdistää bleiserit aina heti muhun, ja että mulla on niin tunnistettava go-to look. Inkan kommentti sai ehdottomasti hymyn huulille, ja ihan tottahan tuo on! Bleiseri-lookit on ikään kuin mun 'tavamerkki', ja oon sitä mieltä että jokaisella pitäisi olla se oma tavaramerkki-asu - mikä ikinä se sitten onkaan just sulle. Miksi sitten oikein kannattaa miettiä ja kehittää se oma tavaramerkki-look?

A little while ago I started to think whether I should change the name of this blog or at least my Instagram bio to include 'the blazer girl' or something similar, as I use and love my blazers so much! My lovely friend Inka also commented on one of my Instagram photos recently that she always associates blazers with me, and that I have such a recognisable go-to look. That comment definitely brought a smile onto my face, and to be honest she is quite right, isn't she?! Blazer outfits are kind of like my 'signature', and in my opinion everyone should have their own signature outfit - whatever that might be for just you. But why should you have a signature outfit then?

Nopeus

Oman tavaramerkki-asun löytäminen nopeuttaa aivan älyttömästi kiireisiä aamuja. Jos aamulla ei ole aikaa miettiä päivän lookia sen tarkemmin, niin ei muuta kuin tavaramerkki-asu niskaan ja se on siinä!

Helppous

Edelliseen kohtaan viitaten, tavaramerkki-look myös helpottaa pukeutumista ja säästää suuremmilta asukriiseiltä. Kuten jo totesin, tavaramerkki-asua ei tarvitse miettiä sen enempää, vaan tiedät että siihen tiettyyn komboon voit aina luottaa - no matter what!

Speed

Finding your own signature outfit makes it so much quicker for you to dress up in busy mornings. If you don't have time to give that much thought to your outfit of the day, just put on your signature outfit and you're good to go!

Easiness

Linking to the previous point, establishing a signature look also makes it easier to dress up in the mornings and you'll avoid the biggest outfits crises and dilemmas. Like I mentioned, you don't have to give that much thought to your signature outfit but you know that it's a combo you can always rely on - no matter what!

Itsevarmuus

Tavaramerkki-asu myös lisää itsevarmuutta. Se on asu joka saa kävelemään selkä suorassa ja reippain askelin, sillä se yksinkertaisesti vaan tuntuu ja näyttää niin hyvältä päällä. Ja se puolestaan heijastuu suoraan omaan fiilikseen ja siihen miten kannat itsesi.

Tunnistettavuus

Lopuksi vielä juurikin se tunnistettavuus. Tavaramerkki-asut on niitä, joista ihmiset tunnistaa just sut. Sen voi itse asiassa ajatella ikään kuin osana omaa henkilöbrändiä! Tavaramerkki-look myös viestii muille minkälainen olet tai minkälainen haluaisit olla, eli sillä voi myös vaikuttaa siihen minkälaisen kuvan annat itsestäsi muille. 

Confidence

A signature outfit is also a huge confidence booster. It is an outfit that makes you walk with your head held high and with prep in your step, as it simply just feels and looks so good on. And that translates directly to how you feel and how you carry yourself. 

Recognisable-ness

And lastly that recognisable-ness. Signature outfits are precisely those ones that people recognise you of and associate you with. You can actually think of it almost like as part of you personal brand! And a signature look also communicates to others what kind of a person you are or what kind of a person you would like to be. And therefore you can control the image you're giving about yourself to others.
