Two Ways to Wear Jumper Dress with Puff Sleeves

Puhvihihat jatkaa voittokulkuaan yhtenä tämän kevään 2020 suurimmista muotitrendeistä. Trendikkäitä puhvihihoja näkyy ihan kaikenlaisissa yläosissa aina neuleista kauluspaitoihin ja biletoppeihin, mutta myös erilaiset puhvihihoilla somistetut mekot kuuluu ehdottomasti kauden trendeihin. Puff sleeves are continuing as one of the biggest fashion trends of this spring 2020. There are all kinds of tops from jumpers to smart button down shirts and party tops with puff sleeve details, but it's also different puff sleeve dresses that are super trendy this season. This beautiful, beige jumper dress with puff sleeves from BikBok ticks both the top and dress boxes, and today I'm sharing two ways to wear the dress with you.

Ensimmäisenä tietysti ihan perinteisesti mekkona! Ohut neulottu materiaali tuntuu mukavalta päällä, ja polveen saakka ulottuva helma takaa ettei vilautteluvaaraa ole. Mekon kanssa toimisi vaikka minkälaiset kivat erilaiset yhdistelmät, ja sen päälle voisi heittää esimerkiksi farkku- tai nahkatakin, tai vaikkapa bleiserin niin mekosta tulisi heti myös toimistokelpoinen. Kenkinä puolestaan toimisi niin valkoiset lenkkarit, kevyet kesäkengät, kuin vaikkapa korolliset sandaalitkin - ihan tilanteesta riippuen.

First of course how it is meant to be worn - as a dress! The thin knitted material feels super comfortable to wear, and the knee-length hem guarantees that there is no fear of flashing. Only the sky is the limit really when it comes to what to wear together with this puff sleeve dress, but for example denim or leather jacket would work well. Or by adding a blazer on top, the dress would instantly become office-appropriate. The same 'anything goes' mentality could be applied to shoes as well, and you could easily pair the dress with for example white chunky sneakers, light summer shoes such as mules or ballerinas, or a pair of high heeled strappy sandals. 

Toisena tapana stailata beige puhvihihainen neulemekko on pukea se yhdessä housujen kanssa neulepaitana. Itse puin mekon valkoisten farkkujen kanssa, sillä beigen ja valkoisen yhdistelmä näyttää todella raikkaalta ja hyvältä mun silmään. Mutta neulepaidan tapaan puettuna mekon voisi jälleen yhdistää myös moniin erilaisiin alaosiin. Farkut tietysti toimii aina, mutta myös esimerkiksi puvunhousut sopisi hyvin, ja näen myös mielessäni miten hyvältä midimittaisen leopardihameen yhdistelmä tämän kanssa näyttäisi.

And another way to wear this beige puff sleeve jumper dress is to combine it with a pair of trousers, so the dress works as a top instead. I paired the dress with white jeans as I just love how fresh the colour combination of beige and white looks. But when worn as a top this dress could also be paired with a multitude of different bottoms. Jeans are obviously always a safe bet, but also suit trousers would look amazing. I can also imagine how good the combination of this dress as a top together with a leopard print midi skirt would look.
