Tips on How to Elevate a Casual Sweatshirt

Rennot collegepaidat ja hupparit eivät ole enää vain kotia, treeniä tai yläasteikäisiä varten. Kun rennon ja sporttisen vaatekappaleen yhdistää siistimpiin elementteihin, kokonaisuudesta tulee tyylikäs ja mielenkiintoinen. Ja vain taivas on rajana kaikille erilaisille yhdistelmille, joihin rennon collegepaidan voi stailata ja silti näyttää super tyylikkäältä. Tässä muutama idea! 

Casual sweatshirts and hoodies are not only for home, working out or teenagers anymore. When you style a relaxed and sporty piece with something a bit more elegant, the outfit turns chic and interesting. And only the sky is the limit for all the different combinations and outfits you can style with a sweatshirt and still look super chic. Here are a few ideas!

Kuinka yhdistää collegepusero tyylikkäästi

- Pue collegen päälle bleiseri. Bleiseri tuo mihin tahansa asuun ryhtiä.

- Laita jalkaan kengät, joissa on hieman (tai hieman enemmänkin) korkoa. Korollinen kenkä tekee lookista naisellisemman ja ryhdistä paremman. 

- Yhdistä collegepaita siisteihin housuihin. Suorat nahkahousut tai puvunhousut on mun suosikit!

- Kokeile kynähametta. Rennon collegepaidan ja skarpin kynähameen yhdistelmä on supermielenkiintoinen. Tähän yhdistelmään sopisi todella hyvin myös esimerkiksi trendikäs kokonaan harmaa look. Pidä kuitenkin college ja hame eri sävyisinä harmaina, jotta kokonaisuudesta ei tule pliisu.

- Leiki kontrasteilla. Yhdistä rentoon puuvillaiseen collegepaitaan muita materiaaleja ja pintoja, kuten nahkaa, samettia, silkkiä tai tekokarvaa niin kokonaisuus pysyy kiinnostavana. 

- Stailaa collegepaita trenssin kanssa. Trenssin kanssa collegen pariksi alaosaan sopii super hyvin myös leggingsit, ja tämä sporttinen mutta tyylikäs look on ehdottomasti yksi mun kevään suosikkiasuja! 

How to elevate a casual sweatshirt

- Put a blazer on top. A blazer just instantly brings sharpness and smartness to any look.

- Wear shoes with a little bit (or a little bit more) of a heel. A heeled shoe makes the outfit more feminine and your posture improves in a blink of an eye too.

- Combine a sweatshirt with smarter trousers. A pair of straight leather or suit trousers are my personal favourites!

- Try a pencil skirt. The combination of a relaxed sweatshirt and a smart pencil skirt is super interesting. This outfit would also look really amazing in all grey tones, which is very trendy right now. Just make sure the sweatshirt and skirt are different shades of grey so the outfit doesn't look bland. 

- Play with contrasts. Wear a casual cotton sweatshirt with other materials and surfaces, such as leather, velvet, silk or faux fur so the look remains more interesting. 

- Style a sweatshirt with a classic trench coat. With a trench coat on top, a sweatshirt looks amazing also with a pair of leggings on the bottom. This sporty but chic look is definitely one of my favourite outfits for spring!
